Happy 27th Birthday Amy!

I remember  in 2009 when we threw you a surprise birthday party in Second Life for your 21st!  We equipped you with pixelated alcohol because you were now allowed to have it and decorated the sim with balloons, bunnehs and other various fluffys and just had a fun time hanging out!

Happy 27th Birthday to my wonderful friend Amy!

Today is a day to celebrate for without today myself and my family would have never been able to meet the amazing, sassy, silly, sweet you! Not a day goes by we don't think of you. Thanks to your nerdy influence the kids LOVE star wars (especially our oldest) and everywhere we look there's a reminder of you. I suppose it's safe to say you're always around us. I love and miss you sooooo much! I hope you're in heaven having a ball and petting a moose!

Relay For Life 2015

Relay for Life Walk 2015 started in SL on 7/18/2015 (I know this post is several days late) but I wanted to share that the Purple Tears Team had a few dedications to Amy within their RFL display.

They hid a moose in the garden.  The lovely Memorial Garden by Dust Bunny is placed next to a bench and Amy's picture is up in the Memorial Hallway.  When you click the picture it gives out a note card written by Brennie Slade with a lovely dedication.  There are also several luminaries lit in Memory of Amy.

The one thought I had running through my head was, as difficult as it has been to get through the sadness from losing my loved ones to that terrible "C" word, on the RFL sims, you can't help but look around and know that we are never alone.

A Special Memorial for Amy - by Shiloh

Shiloh, owner and Creator of Magnolia Home & Décor has released a very special Memorial edition of her Japanese Lanterns for Amy.  You can get yours at the Origami summer event located at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Heiankyo/64/35/24 .  Shiloh has been so kind to donate 100% of the sales to help keep Amy's store, Alouette, open in world.

The lantern features lovely Japanese writing that translates to "Amy, our friend for Eternity".
